LHS Grads Receive Scholarships from Lindy Republican Club
Three Lindenhurst High School Class of 2012 graduates receive scholarship money at the Club's Annual Clam Bake fundriaser.

Three Class of 2012 graduates were recently honored at the Lindenhurst Republican Club's Annual Clam Bake fundraiser.
, his twin brother and fellow grad Alissa Eckert were previously officially named as the Club's scholarship winners, but the formal presentation took place at the at .
Club Secretary Phil Renna and his son, RJ Renna, made the presentation, noting this was the first year the Club handed out three scholarships, instead of the usual two.

Eckert wasn't able to attend the event because she had to work, the Rennas noted, but the Rinaldi brothers were there to accept the scholarship money.
Each brother received $500, and Eckert received $250.

Both Rinaldi brothers will be attending Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, in the Fall.
"I'll be studying computer science and game design," Mike Rinaldi said.
"And I'll be studying architecture," said John Rinaldi.
Both brothers thanked the Club and the crowd for the honor, and Lindenhurst Mayor Tom Brennan congratulated and wished them luck.
