Lindenhurst High School alum Joey Kramer is one of seven members of the Plattsburgh State men's lacrosse team to receive All-SUNYAC (State University of New York Athletic Conference) First Team nods.

Lindenhurst High School alum Joey Kramer is one of seven members of the Plattsburgh State men’s lacrosse team who were honored on April 30 as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced the 2013 SUNYAC Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference Team.
SUNY Plattsburgh senior Kramer, along with Tim Lawrence, Nick Travers and Ryan Phillips each received All-SUNYAC First Team nods, according to a report on PressRepublican.com.
Charlie Dullea and Brett McClelland garnered second team honors while Mike Lind was one of four honorable mention selections, the report said, adding, the seven all-conference honorees mark a program high for the Cardinals, which previously set the record with five last season.
In addition, Kramer, along with Lawrence, Travers and Phillips, join Kyle Norchi (2011) and Chris Hopps (2008) as the only Plattsburgh State players to receive first-team accolades, the report said.
As the Cardinals’ leading scorer, Kramer becomes a two-time All-SUNYAC player with 39 goals and 50 points, according to the report. He's the league’s leading goal scorer, and is tied for third with 3.33 points per game.
Kramer is fourth all-time with 111 career goals and 146 points. He's also scored more man-up goals than any other Cardinal lacrosse player with 23 goals in 64 games, the report said.
In addition to two man-up goals this season, Kramer has also netted four game-winning goals.
As a junior at Plattsburgh Kramer received first All-SUNYAC honors of his career with a second team selection. He tallied a team-leading 36 goals, tied for a team-high 47 points and four man-up goals, and led the Cardinals with 68 shots on goal.
In his sophomore year Kramer made 16 appearances for the Cardinals. He was second on the team in goals (26) and fourth on the team in points (31), plus, scored 11 goals in man-up situations.
As a freshman Kramer appeared in every game, making one start, and notched 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points.
In his lacrosse career at LHS, Kramer - an honor roll student - lettered twice for Coach Andre Dattero, and compiled 36 goals and 17 assists in prep career.
His sister, Jessica, plays on the Farmingdale State lacrosse team.
