Man Shot, Seriously Injured In Suffolk County: Police

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — A man was seriously injured after he was shot in Amityville on Thursday afternoon, Suffolk County Police said.

At about 4:15 p.m., the man was shot in front of a Madison Ave. residence. He was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, police said.
