LINDENHURST, NY — Midshipmen from the United States Merchant Marine Academy have thanked a Lindenhurst restaurant for sponsoring their holiday dinner.

On Dec. 10, 2021, the USMMA hosted its Regimental Holiday Dinner Ball, and Restoration Kitchen & Cocktails sponsored the event. They brought "some 'home-cooked' holiday cheer" to USMMA's Kings Point campus, Lindenhurst officials said in a news release.

In a ceremony, Eric Gollinge, a USMMA Midshipman and graduate of Lindenhurst High School, thanked Restoration owner Billy Miller for his "generosity and support of the event," officials said.
