Motorcyclist Killed In North Lindenhurst Crash : Police

NORTH LINDENHURST, NY — A man is dead, after his motorcycle crashed with a car turning into a North Lindenhurst driveway on Saturday, Suffolk County Police said.

At about 8:15 p.m., an adult male was riding a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on Straight Path, near Colonial Road, when he collided with a northbound 2015 White BMW that was turning left into a driveway.

The man, who has not been identified, was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The driver of the BMW was not injured.
