Copiague House Fire Leaves 1 Hurt: Fire Department

COPIAGUE, NY — A house fire in Copiague on Tuesday night left one person hurt.

The Copiague Volunteer Fire Department was called for a bedroom fire at an Oak Street home around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

The Lindenhurst Fire Department, the North Lindenhurst Fire Department, and the Amityville Fire Department, and the North Amityville Fire Company also assisted in maintaining the fire.

One person inside the home was taken to a hospital for treatment, the department shared in a post on social media.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
