Photos: LHS Souper Bowl Benefits Sandy Relief Efforts

The fifth annual Lindenhurst High School event raises money for hurricane relief efforts.

The Lindenhurst High School hosted the Souper Bowl of Caring Charity Cook-Off Fundraiser on Saturday.

More than 200 people attended the fifth annual event on February 2, which benefitted Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, according to school officials. There were also donations to Island Harvest.

Students, teachers, administrators and community members all enjoyed the festivities, including the cook-off - which included plenty of chili, soup and homemade breads, all donated by local restaurants, LHS sports teams and clubs, PTA, community groups and faculty.
