Photos: LHS Winter Party Gives Lindy Kids a Boost
The Lindenhurst High School's Winter Party arrived in time to brighten the holiday spirits of a community that took such a hit after Hurricane Sandy.
The Lindenhurst High School sponsored a Winter party for children in the community to add to the festive holiday season and brighten the spirits of a community that took such a hit after Hurricane Sandy.
Students in the National Art Honor Society offered face painting for the children and sold their Recovery t-shirts and sweatshirts.

Other activities included miniature golf, bowling, coloring and decorating holiday photo frames.
The party also featured an ice cream sundae station, hot cocoa with toppings, cupcakes and cookies.

The disc jockey played music all afternoon, and students enjoyed conga lines and the popular Gangnam Style.
“Students of all ages came to the high school and had a great time,” said Principal Dan Giordano.
“Hopefully, it boosted some spirits for the holidays,” he added.
