Police Report: Harassing Texts, Burglary on North Monroe
Incidents in Lindenhurst, and North Lindenhurst, between August 26 and September 2.
The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and doesn't indicate convictions.
Incidents
- September 2: Harassment, second degree, South High Street, report indicated, “Known subject assaulted complainant; now gone; ‘neg resc subject.’”
- September 2: Criminal mischief, fourth, 43rd Street, report indicated, “Through front door - possibly done by estranged husband.”
- September 1: Petit larceny, Route 27A (Montauk Highway).
- September 1: Aggravated harassment, North Greene Avenue, report indicated, “Unknown male subject harassing complainant’s 12 year-old daughter [via] text.”
- August 30: Burglary, second, North Monroe Avenue, report indicated, “Male just tried to get into complainant’s bathroom window.”
- August 29: Criminal mischief, fourth, North Seventh Street and Hoffman Avenue, report indicated, “Male hit complainant’s vehicle with unknown object; subject not 36.”
- August 26 (reported August 29): Burglary, second, Grand Avenue, report indicated, “PO 5762.”
