Police Report: Theft on Straight Path, Break-Ins, Rash of Criminal Mischief

Incidents in Lindenhurst, and North Lindenhurst, between July 21 and 30, plus one from July 14.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and doesn't indicate convictions.

Incidents

  • July 30: Criminal mischief, fourth, Fremont Street, report indicated, “To vehicle.”
  • July 30: Grand larceny, fourth, Straight Path, report indicated, “Black male wearing red shirt [and] corn rows in blue Intrepid.”
  • July 29: Harassment, second, Second Avenue.
  • July 28: Aggravated harassment, South Seventh Street, report indicated, “By ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend; sounds intoxicated.”
  • July 27: Burglary, second, Sherbrooke Road, report indicated, “Of items from inside incident location; call back request sent.”
  • July 26 (reported July 27): Burglary, second, 45th Street, report indicated, “Attempted 10-3 just discovered.”
  • July 26: Burglary, second, Lincoln Drive, report indicated, “Unknown entry method [and] unknown proceeds; complainant just walked.”
  • July 25: Burglary, second, Wood Place, report indicated, “Just discovered; 134 advised of ‘O/T+.’”
  • July 24 (reported July 25): Harassment, second, Kansas Street.
  • July 23: Burglary, second, Leibrock Avenue, report indicated, “Just discovered; Detective Tricaro #1386 [is] handling burglary.”
  • July 23 (reported July 24): Criminal mischief, fourth, South 16th Street, report indicated, “To vehicle; call back request sent to originating.”
  • July 23 (reported July 24): Criminal mischief, fourth, Shore Road, report indicated, “To vehicle; 118 responding; event held for five.”
  • July 23 (reported July 24): Criminal mischief, fourth, North Eighth Street, report indicated, “Just discovered; car windows smashed; who did it [is] unknown.”

  • July 23 (reported July 24): Criminal mischief, fourth, East Shore Road, report indicated, “Rear window shattered of vehicle; busy on recall ‘UT.’”
