Studio Theatre of LI To Present 'Fun Home'
The Tony award-winning musical will grace Lindenhurst this week.
LINDENHURST, NY — A Tony-award winning musical will soon grace the streets of Lindenhurst.
Studio Theatre of Long Island will present "Fun Home", starting Saturday Feb. 10 until Feb. 26 at Manes Studio Theatre, located at 141 S. Wellwood Avenue.
The musical is an adaptation of Alison Bechdel’s graphic memoir, with music and lyrics by Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron.

The story concerns Bechdel’s childhood growing up in a funeral home, or "fun home."
It delves into the discovery of her own sexuality, her relationship with her closeted gay father, and her attempts to unlock the mysteries surrounding his life.
