Talk Back: What Are the Eyesores of Lindenhurst?

Across the island, every Village has that one place – whether its a rickety old home, dilapidated business building or overgrown land where the weeds outnumber everything else, that is just a complete eyesore.

Some of these structures might even be possible safety hazards - freestanding buildings worn down enough without being checked could be easily blown over by a storm or be home to rodents among other things.

A home in Woodmere was taken apart after years of legal battles over the property, although the abandoned home was in horrifying shape with walls gone and weeds growing on the home (see the accompanying photo).
