Town Democrats Kick Off Campaign Fundraising
Golf fundraiser brings over 200 out to Farmingdale as November nears.

The Town of Babylon Democratic Committee recently held their fall fundraiser at the Colonial Springs Golf Club in Farmingdale with over 200 supporters in attendance.
Democrats across the area came out to support the "Schaffer Team," made up of the ticket of Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Councilman Tony Martinez, Town Clerk Carol Quirk and Suffolk County Legislature candidate Tom Dolan.
The fun event brought out guests from all over Suffolk County and prizes were awarded to guests for contests.
The beginning of the campaign season brings us to the next big questions: who do voters want to see replace outgoing Legislator Wayne Horsley?
What do you think the election will bring? New faces or the same party in power?
Our new open blog, The Soapbox-Babylon Government, hopes to be the place where locals can debate these kids of issues in town.
