Cops: 18-Year-Old Sold Xanax in Long Beach

The 18-year-old was charged with selling the anxiety pills last summer in Long Beach, police said.

A Long Beach man was charged Tuesday with selling prescription anxiety pills last summer, according to Nassau County Police.

On Aug. 10, 2014, Kraig Reilly, 18, traded Xanax pills for cash at an undisclosed location in Long Beach, cops said.

Long Beach Police determined that Reilly was the seller and took him into custody Tuesday on Arizona Avenue in Long Beach, police said.

Reilly was charged with two counts of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
