Muppets Rap 'Shimmy Shimmy Ya' in LI Man's Video
Yet another Muppets lip dub created by a Long Island native goes viral.

The Muppets have taken on an Ol’ Dirty Bastard hit in the latest viral lip dub from a Long Island native.
Adam Schleichkorn, of Long Beach, created a lip dub of ODB’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” starring piano playing Muppet Dr. Teeth.
Muppet Janice, Big Bird from Sesame Street, and Earl from “Dinosaurs” are among the cameos in the video, which gained more than 170,000 hits in one day.

Schleichkorn, who heads the video department for Melville’s Driven Local, is responsible for several other viral hits. He released a comedy video of The Muppets lip synching to The Beastie Boys in August that now has more than 1,200,000 hits on YouTube. The Muppets then appeared in another of Schleichkorn’s lip dubs to Naughty By Nature’s “Hip Hop Hooray” in November.
“The hardest part of my job hands down was learning how to create these animations from start to finish,” he explained to Patch in February. “Animation is a whole new world compared to traditional video, so I literally locked myself in a room for weeks to hone my skills. I pride myself on my work, and refuse to put out anything even close to mediocre, especially for paying-clients, so I made it a point to spend countless hours to get to the next level. “

In April, Schleichkorn used his viral video expertise to help find homes for cats at North Shore Animal League. The video, “Cats Doing Cat Stuff…For Adoption,” has more than 36,000 views on YouTube.
