School Board Meets, Shorgasboard in Times

School Board Meets: The Long Beach Board of Education will hold a regular meeting at the Middle School starting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Shorgasboard: The food truck market, established this summer as a pilot program, operates each day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Riverside Boulevard and Shore Road. In case you missed it, The New York Times wrote about the Shorgasboard last week.
Weather: Forecasters are predicting scattered thunderstorms with a 60 percent chance of rain in Long Beach on Tuesday. The mercury is expected to climb into the high 70s.
