Special Needs Surfing, Industry Night, Red Cross Ready

Special Needs Surfing: Surfersway provides a fun and safe surfing experience for children with special needs at Riverside beach starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Industry Night: Minnesota’s and The Beach House, two West End watering holes, will hold Industry Night each Wednesday, when bartenders from all across the South Shore will work their magic behind their bars. This Beach House will play host this Wednesday.
Beach Tunes: Real Hot Lanta performs classic rock from the Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton and Janis Joplin at New York Avenue beach at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Be Red Cross Ready: American Red Cross staff will present about 30 minutes of personal storm preparedness information and Q&A session for seniors at the Magnolia Senior Center, at 650 Magnolia Blvd., on at 11 a.m. Wednesday. A second general presentation will be held at 6 p.m. at Long Beach City Hall, at 1 W. Chester St.
Fruits and Veggies: The Farmer’s Market is open for business every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kennedy Plaza outside Long Beach City Hall. (The market returns on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
Weather: Mother Nature is forecasted to deliver sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-70s to Long Beach on Wednesday.
