Boyd Tinsley Visits Merrick

Boyd Tinsley, the violinist in Dave Matthews Band, spent two nights in Merrick getting to know fans and promoting his new movie, "Faces in the Mirror."
 
Tuesday and Wednesday's meet and greet was hosted by Suburbia Prime Meat and Fish Market. Owner David Feldman said that more than 500 people attended the two-night event. 

"It was a huge success," he said.

Feldman said that he is friends with members of Dave Matthews Band, who performed at Jones Beach this week.

It was his first time hosting an event at his business, which he calls a Rock and Roll butcher shop. 

"Everybody was so calm and waited in line," he said. "I was really happy with the turnout."
