Crime Report: Man Arrested For Attempted Burglary, DWI Arrests
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.
- On Sept. 1, an unknown suspect broke the window of a  compliantant's car parked on Merrick Avenue and Sunrise Highway.
- Elizar Rodas, 21, of Freeport was arrested after he attempted to rob a woman and her 11-year old child on North Hewlett Avenue on Aug. 29.Â
- Rashid Saleem, 36, of Queens, was arrested on Sunrise Highway and Wynsum Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and four violations of the vehicle and traffic law on Sept. 1.
- On Sept. 2, Henry Maysonet of Freeport was arrested on Sunrise Highway and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and three violations of the vehicle and traffic law. Â
