Brendan Gahn, 34, of Merrick was arrested at George Court and Shore Drive and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an incident on June 25.
On June 26, items were removed from an unlocked car parked on North Hewlett Avenue.

Sometime between June 26 and June 27, an unknown suspect stole a GPS from a vehicle that was parked in a driveway on Illona Lane. No damage to the vehicle was reported.
On June 29, a backpack, pocketbook, USC and other miscellaneous items were stolen from car that was parked in the Gap parking lot on Merrick Road.
Salomon Samaniego, 30 of Jamaica was arrested in Merrick and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and three violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
