- Jerry Barmash writes about a John F. Kennedy High School sophomore soccer player who has been chosen for the 2022 Maccabi Games for Jewish teenagers. Isabelle Sivin will represent the U.S. at games in Israel, one of 24 female soccer players from across the country to compete for Team USA next summer. (Patch)

- Patch reports that a family involved in a fatal car crash around 1 a.m. Sunday in New Rochelle is from Hempstead. 37-year-old Troy Carter was killed in the crash. A front seat passenger has been identified as 11-year-old Tiara Carter who was critically injured. Seven-year-old Carmello Carter was also killed and his twin brother Romello Carter is in critical condition after emergency surgery. (Patch)
