Large Amounts Of Cocaine Found In Home Near High School: NCPD
Police arrested a man they say was selling drugs. They also recovered cash at his home.

ROOSEVELT, NY — Nassau County police say they arrested a man for selling large amounts of cocaine in a home around the block from Roosevelt High School.
According to police, Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives and officers from the Bureau of Special Operations and the Gang Investigation Squad executed a search warrant at a home on Hillman Place in Roosevelt at 1:05 p.m. on March 22.
Police say they found cash and a large quantity of cocaine. Kenneth Wheeler, 55, who lived in the home, was arrested.

Wheeler is charged with five counts of second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to be arraigned later today in First District Court in Hempstead.
