Teenager Burglarizes Nassau Bike Shop On Multiple Occasions: Police
The 13-year-old is due back in Nassau County Family Court on Wednesday.
MERRICK, NY — A teenager was arrested for an attempted burglary in Merrick during the overnight hours on Sunday, police said.
The 13-year-old boy attempted to burglarize Merrick Bicycles on Merrick Avenue, but he fled before gaining entry, police said.
An investigation revealed that he was responsible for two other burglaries at the same location on Tuesday, Aug. 13 and Friday, Aug. 16, authorities said.

He was located after an investigation and charged with third-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree attempted burglary, third-degree and fourth-degree criminal mischief and possession of burglar tools.
He was issued an appearance ticket returnable on Wednesday, August 21 to Nassau County Family Court.
