Chamber Alliance Annual Scholarship Award Recipients Announced
Councilwoman Bonner honored Joseph DiDonato of Mount Sinai High School and Meghan Connolly of Miller Place High School.

On June 22 Councilwoman Jane Bonner (center) attended the Mount Sinai-Miller Place Chamber Alliance Annual Scholarship Award Presentation at The Hamlet at Willow Creek in Mount Sinai. During the event, Councilwoman Bonner honored award recipients Joseph DiDonato (left), a Mount Sinai High School graduate and Meghan Connolly (right), a Miller Place High School graduate. Starting this fall, Joseph will attend Quinnipiac University and Meaghan will attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. The annual Mount Sinai-Miller Place Chamber Alliance awards are presented to two high school seniors who submit an essay about why they deserve the scholarship, and how they will use it to for higher education or a business venture. In addition, they must highlight their work as volunteers in the community.
