Inventive Ideas In Rocky Point’s Intermediate School

Students used sensory-friendly Pop-Its to create designs.

Students in Gina Hale’s class at Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School took some time for getting to know one another, checking out some library books, and using sensory friendly, brightly colored Pop-Its to create designs. One student, Blaze Carlino, created a chain reaction-type machine with blocks and a marble. Blaze designed it to perform the simple task of getting the marble to the end of the machine in an indirect and complicated way.
