Press release from the Rocky Point School District:

Sept. 13, 2022

Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School fourth graders are in for a year of fun, growth and challenges. To start off on a creative note, fourth grade teacher Laurene Manfredonia tasked her students with creating binder covers in Google Documents for their personal writing portfolios. The students chose clipart and learned how to insert into their documents. The artwork ranged from favorite animals and musical instruments to beloved sports teams to bring some artistic flair to their upcoming lessons in English Language Arts.
