1. It's not just local technicians that may be needed for off-shore wind farm South Fork Wind. Long Island factories are looking for some of the business. The farm will be located 35 miles east of Montauk. (Subscription: Newsday)
2. Newsday looks into state grants to stimulate the tourism industry. The $250M campaign will dole out $2,750 to some hospitality workers. And now that restrictions on tourism from Europe and beyond are lifted, the Montauk Chamber of Commerce may consider advertising internationally, executive director Kay Tyler said.
