Gurney's has bought a new resort and spa in Arizona. The wind farm coming to the waters off Montauk will be hiring Long Island workers. And you can bid on a Martha Stewart originally designed Christmas Tree.

1. Hotel Management reports that Gurney's Resorts partnered with Scottsdale, Arizona-based real estate investment company BB Hotels to acquire the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona. (Hotel Management)
2. Newsday explains that the Danish wind farm developer Orsted has started hiring for its Long Island Sound-based wind farm and it's looking to hire technicians from Long Island.
