With all the talk on how the real estate market is improving, it’s good to know how Rockland County is doing. One of the best ways to see how the market is doing in a particular area is to compare today’s market statistics with how it was doing the same time last year. Compared to this time last year, the Rockland Real Estate market has seen an increase of 4.6% in the number residential homes on the market. Sales are up 23.7%, and the average sales price is up 2%. Condo/Townhomes has seen a decrease in the number of units in the market by -0.2% and a sales increase of 10.5% compared to last year at this time. The average sale price has increased by 6.7%.
