Clarkstown Police arrested Allen Scott, 29, of Nanuet on Thursday and charged him with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 1st degree, a felony, aggravated DWI and DWI, both misdemeanors, and other vehicle and traffic violation. Scott was stopped at about 11:15 a.m. on West Clarkstown Road in New City after police saw him make an illegal turn.
Sgt. Jo Anne Fratianni said Scott failed the field sobriety tests and Breathalyzer test at police headquarters. Scott was arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court and sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. He is due in court on July 22nd.
