
A Nanuet man has been indicted by a Rockland County grand jury in New City on felony charges of driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe said that on Aug. 17, at 6:10 p.m., Julio Barrera, 35, of 149 West Clarkstown Road, Nanuet, was seen driving his vehicle erratically and then drove onto a neighbor's property. Zugibe said Barrera was in an intoxicated state and his blood alcohol content was .27 percent.
Barrera was previously convicted of driving while intoxicated in Rockland County in 2009, according to court records.
