New City Library Among Those Offering October Fun
Rockland libraries offer a variety of seasonal programs during the coming weeks.

Rockland Libraries offer many fun programs during the next few weeks. You can check out some of them here. Start with the Haunted Library offered at the New City Free Library.
New City
Crafts, treats and ghosts: New City Free Library offers a few Halloween programs. For grades 2 and up, there’s a pumpkin painting program at 4 p.m. on Oct. 26. A program titled “The Ghosts of Undercliff” will talk about the area’s past inhabitants at 7 p.m. on Oct. 27. The Haunted Library takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 29. Crafts, treats and somewhat scary decorations will be featured, as well as a crawl-through tunnel. The library is located at 220 North Main Street. 845 634-4997

Crafts and films: Nyack Public Library features a teen craft session at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 and a teen Halloween

Teen Pumpkin Decorating: Nanuet Public Library offers a pumpkin-decorating program for teens at 3 p.m. Oct. 26. The library is located at 149 Church Street. 845 623-4281.
Pearl River
Tales, crafts and treats: The Pearl River Public Library will present a Halloween program for kids in kindergarten through third grade on Oct. 27. The program, which features tales, crafts, treats and Halloween fun starts at 9:30 a.m. The library is located at 80 Franklin Avenue. 845 735-4084
