Rockland County’s newest supermarket opens Thursday in Monsey. A 30,000 square foot Evergreen Kosher market opens its doors at 7 a.m. in the Town Square Mall in Spring Valley in the space previously occupied by a Pathmark Supermarket.
It is described as a “full service/full value” kosher supermarket with an “unprecedented selection of kosher products and the value to match.” Evergreen has groceries, meats, seafood, produce, take out and deli, a sushi bar and Monsey’s own Zishe’s bakery. Its “store within the store” concept includes Blossoms florists and Sage health & naturals.
The store will integrate time saving services such as “On Call” & “Zoom” which allow shoppers to explore other parts of the store and the mall instead of having to wait for an order or to check out.

Evergreen's hours will be Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday and Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m., Thursday from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Friday from 6 a.m. with varying closing times.
