Thieves smashed a window at the Verizon store at Rockland Plaza shopping center in Nanuet this morning to get inside the store and steal two iPads and 23 cellular phones, according to Clarkstown police. Police said the burglary took place at 3:28 a.m. today and that at least three people are believed to have been involved with the incident. The break in and theft is believed to have taken less than one minute, police said. The value of the stolen merchandise was not yet available, police said.
