Police Blotter: Thefts at Target, Lord & Taylor

Two charged in shoplifting incidents.

Two people have been charged in connection with shoplifting incidents at two stores, according to Clarkstown police.

Blendar Gjana, 22, of Yonkers was charged with petty larceny on Monday at the Lord and Taylor department store at Palisades Center mall in West Nyack at about 5 p.m., police said. He was arrested in connection with the theft of $105 worth of merchandise and was released pending a Sept. 20 hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City, police said.

On Tuesday, police said Miguel Lopez, 35, of Garnerville was charged with petty larceny in connection with the theft of $88 worth of merchandise at the Target department store in West Nyack at about 4 p.m. Lopez was arrested and released pending a hearing on Sept. 15 in Town Court.
