Services Being Held For Boat Accident Victims

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-bullet local dispatch. 

1.)  Funeral services and visitation hours will be held Thursday for the two victims of Friday’s boating accident. Lindsey Stewart’s funeral is at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Church in Pearl River.  Visitation for Mark Lennon will be held at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River. His funeral will take place on Friday in Piermont.

2.) Events: Free Hatha Class at Sanctuary Yoga Studios at 9 a.m., Yarnbombers at the New City Library from 10 to 11 a.m. and Tie Dye Creations With Sharpies at the Nanuet Library from 7 to 8 p.m.

3.) Weather: August's weather will kick-off with scattered thunderstorms and showers Thursday, and temperatures in the mid-70s. The UV index remains high, however, so remember to apply sunblock
