Uniqlo Celebrates Grand Opening at Palisades Mall (VIDEO)

The store is on the first level of the Palisades Center next to H&M. There will be a special promotional pricing during its first week March 15 - 24. There will be a traditional Japanese Taiko drum at 4 p.m. on Friday

 

It's bright and white. The new Uniqlo opened its doors at the Palisades Mall on Friday. Located next to H&M. Uniqlo announced back in January that it planed to hire 100 full-time and part-time employees at all levels and they were all smiles on its grand opening March 15.

UNIQLO, a global clothing retailer, opened its second U.S. mall location this week at Palisades Center. The store spans 24,000 total square feet and offers men’s and women’s basics, AIRism, Premium Linen, Ultra Stretch denim, UT (UNIQLO printed t-shirt collection), an array of colorful bottoms, as well as the spring kids collection, according to its press release.

There will be entertainment and activities during the grand opening weekend (Friday through Sunday) including a special tote bag gift with a purchase of $50 or more to the first 500 customers each day and traditional Japanese Taiko drum performances on Friday at 4 p.m. and at various times of the day through the weekend.

In celebration of the grand opening at Palisades, UNIQLO is offering special promotional pricing during grand opening week beginning Friday, March 15 and running through Sunday, March 24.

This will be the company’s sixth U.S. retail location. There are currently three UNIQLO stores in New York City, one in Paramus, one in San Francisco and the seventh location comes next month at Westchester’s Ridge Hill.
