Human Leg Found Floating In East River, NYPD Says
The city medical examiner is investigating where it came from.

LOWER EAST SIDE — Police found a human leg floating in the East River Thursday morning, the NYPD said. The city medical examiner is investigating where the body part came from, police said.
Police got a 911 call reporting the leg's appearance near the FDR Drive and East 6th Street at 11:43 a.m., the NYPD said.
Cops saw it floating against a wall at that spot and emergency workers took it out of the water, police said.
