What it’s about: Over 30 types of bread. Need I say more? Sullivan Street Bakery is back in business and dishing out pastries, sandwiches and pizza all day. It has a history of serving some of New York City’s best treats and its reopening caused quite a buzz.
Bernie’s
Where: 332 Driggs Ave., Greenpoint
What it’s about: Bernie’s has all-American classics like pies, clam bake, crab cakes, sundaes and chicken paillard. They have the sweetest interior, too, with red-and-white checkered tablecloths for a real luncheonette feel.

Sofreh
Where: 75 St. Marks Ave., Prospect Heights
What it’s about: This Persian food will blow your mind. “Sofreh” means spread, which is a completely appropriate name of this restaurant to portray both the intricate traditional tablecloths and the delicious spreads they serve with your meal.
King’s Co Imperial
Where: 168 1/2 Delancey St., Lower East Side
What it’s about: After you walk into this restaurant, you won’t be surprised to hear that many of its ingredients come from its own garden. With a bright red exterior nestled under the Williamsburg Bridge, King’s Co serves up crispy Mandarin fish and wok-seared dumplings in a minimalist, exposed-beam, pavilion-style nook.
