New York City's 2 Most Romantic Restaurants For Valentine's Day

Reservation service OpenTable named the Upper East Side and DUMBO restaurants two of the most romantic in America.

NEW YORK CITY, NY — Need help making Valentine's Day plans? Two New York City eateries were just named to restaurant reservation service OpenTable's list of the "100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America for 2018."

Erminia Ristorante on the Upper East Side and the River Cafe in DUMBO claimed the honors for dishing out consistently "scrumptious food" paired with "alluring ambiance, and bespoke service," according to the OpenTable list. The ranking-makers at OpenTable poured over more than 12 million reviews of 26,000 restaurants in order to narrow their ranking down to 100.

New Yorkers familiar with the two dining spots probably aren't surprised that they made the cut. The River Cafe provides an elegant dining experience with sweeping views of the East River and the Manhattan skyline. Erminia is more of an intimate experience, located in a one-story building featuring rustic wood finishes complimented with lush ivy.
