NYC Patch Asks: What's The Best Ride Share Service In NYC?

NEW YORK, NY — New York City's streets have been taken over by vehicles driving for a number of different ride-sharing apps.

With so many options, Patch set out to test which service performs the best on New York's mean streets. We pitted Uber Pool, Lyft Line, Via and Curb against each other in a series of road races to determine which service gets riders to their destinations the fastest.

But riders care about more than just speed.

That's why Patch is asking New Yorkers: Which ride-sharing service is the best overall performer in New York City?

This week Patch wants New Yorkers to think about speed, comfort, value, safety and which service employs the best drivers.

Have you been stuck in a car with no air when it's 95 and sunny out? Were you taken to West 14th street when you wanted to go to East 14th Street? Did you grab onto the coat hanger because your driver's swerving in-and-out of traffic make you fear for your life? Patch wants to know.
