NYC Restaurant Week reservations are open for the entirety of its run from July 18 to Aug. 21.

And as eagle-eyed would-be-noshers likely noticed, the event is much longer than a week. This year's Restaurant Week is running 30 days to commemorate its 30th anniversary, organizers said.

Entrants include many New York City favorites, such as Sylvia's in Harlem, which the event's website notes is so popular it now takes up most of a city block.

"Founded in 1962, this world-famous Harlem soul food restaurant (think smothered chicken, fried catfish and collard greens) is so popular, it has spawned a line of Sylvia products, from triple-strength hot sauce and canned black-eyed peas to flapjack syrup and peach cobbler mix," the Restaurant Week site states.

Unlike the past two Restaurant Weeks, this one will be the first since the coronavirus pandemic without sweeping masking and capacity restrictions.

"Masks and proof of vaccination are no longer required to dine indoors," the event's site states.

City officials still recommend that people wear high-quality masks in indoor public spaces to stop the spread of COVID-19.
