NYC Subway Delays: Seven Lines Ran Behind During Commute
A disruptive person at a Manhattan subway station caused delays for 1/2/3 trains, while track issues slowed others, officials said.

NEW YORK CITY — Delays hit seven MTA subway lines during Wednesday's morning commute, officials said.
A disruptive person at 72nd Street station caused delays for 1/2/3 trains headed south as crews waited for the NYPD to respond, the MTA posted at 8:15 a.m.
J trains ran with delays in both directions after FDNY firefighters put out a track fire near Cypress Hills, according to a 7:59 a.m. post.

B and D trains headed north also ran slow, a post at 8 a.m. states. MTA crews needed to investigate why a train's brakes activated at Broadway-Lafayette Street.
A signal problem caused delays for R trains headed south out of Queens plaza, the MTA posted at 7:57 a.m.
