NYPD Cop Harassed Ex-Wife, Police Say
The off-duty officer was arrested on Staten Island after his ex-wife called cops, police said.

STATEN ISLAND — An NYPD cop was suspended after he harassed his ex-wife on Staten Island, police said. Officer John A. Gamba, 39, was arrested Monday and accused of violating an order of protection restricting contact with her, police said.
Gamba gave his wife the middle finger and made a gesture imitating a gun while parked in front of her house at 1:30 p.m. Monday, according to a criminal complaint in the case.
Gamba was arrested at 9:40 p.m. after his ex-wife called police, the NYPD said. He was off-duty at the time.
