NEW YORK, NY — President Donald Trump will return to his hometown next month to host a fundraiser for his re-election campaign. The Republican will headline the Dec. 2 breakfast event alongside Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, according to an invitation obtained by Patch.

Ticket prices run from $1,000 for an individual to $50,000 for two VIP tables for 10. That package also includes a photo with Trump. Proceeds will benefit Trump Victory, a joint fundraising committee formed by Trump's campaign and the RNC.

The invitation doesn't give a location — "Additional details will be provided upon RSVP," it says.

The fundraiser will come 10 days before a special election in Alabama to fill Attorney General Jeff Sessions' vacant U.S. Senate seat. Roy Moore, the Trump-backed Republican candidate, is under pressure to drop out of the race after Thursday's Washington Post report that he initiated a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl n 1979, when Moore was 32.

Trump, a Queens native who still has a Manhattan residence at Trump Tower, headlined another Republican fundraiser at the Midtown restaurant Le Cirque on Sept. 26, the day before the GOP primary in the Alabama special election.
