Veterans Get Free Citi Bike Rides On Saturday

Here's how to claim your discount with a military ID.

NEW YORK, NY — Citi Bike is giving veterans a free ride this weekend. In honor of Veterans Day, active-duty military service members and veterans can get a free three-day pass for the bike-sharing service with a valid military ID from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Citi Bike is also offering a $25 discount on annual memberships to veterans and service members.

Interested veterans can take advantage of the deal at three Citi Bike locations: Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn, Central Park South or East 48th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan.

The promotion coincides with the annual NYC Veterans Day Parade, led by astronaut and U.S. Air Force veteran Buzz Aldrin.
