Battery, Camera Lens, GPS Stolen from Cars Last Week

Nassau County Police report on thefts from cars in the area last week.

Nassau County Police reported the following information regarding larcenies from vehicles.

  • July 2: Beech Street, E. Atlantic Beach; wallet and $20 in cash stolen from glove compartment.
  • July 3: Sheridan Street, Westbury; battery stolen.
  • July 3: Greengrove Avenue, Uniondale; Fed Ex and Port Authority identifications stolen.
  • July 3: Maple Lane, East Meadow; iPad stolen.
  • July 3: Four Points Sheraton Hotel, Plainview; leather bag containing iPad, books, medication stolen.
  • July 3: Poulson Street, Wantagh; dual camera lens and 5D macro card stolen.
  • July 4: Rhoda Street, West Hempstead; NYS driver’s license stolen.
  • July 4: Connie Lane, Elmont; GPS and sunglasses stolen.
  • July 5: Drexel Avenue, Westbury; rear passenger side window damaged, cell phone accessories stolen.
  • July 5: Lanier Place, Westbury; radio and subwoofers stolen.
  • July 5: Savoy Avenue, Elmont; title and registration stolen from car.
  • July 5: Hewlett Point Avenue, Hewlett Point; EZ Pass and cash stolen.
  • July 5: Town of Hempstead FS7, Franklin Square; gym bag, cell phone charger, two cardboard boxes stolen.
  • July 5: Twin Rinks, East Meadow; backpack, Galaxy S5 cellphone, wallet and contents stolen.
  • July 6: Warren Street, East Meadow; two wallets and cash stolen.
  • July 7: Medical Oncology Associates, Woodbury; laptop stolen.
  • July 7: 106th Avenue and Locustwood Boulevard, Elmont; cellphones, credit cards, cash, and wallet stolen.
  • July 8: Violet Avenue, Hicksville; cash stolen.
