Home Construction Scheme Targeted Elderly In Nassau: Police
Two men were arrested on Monday in Floral Park and they face multiple charges, police said.

FLORAL PARK, NY — Two men were arrested on Monday in Floral Park for their part in an illegal scheme, police said.
David Young, 31, of Philadelphia; and Adam Turner, 25, undomiciled, are accused of acting as unlicensed home improvement contractors for "Top Line Masonry," police said.
They would offer to perform construction on homes, primarily by the elderly, and defraud the victims by falsely reporting/causing more damage, authorities said.

A 2012 white Ford F150 matching the description of the vehicle used in the scheme was spotted in Floral Park near the intersection of Revere Drive East and Revere Drive East.
Young and Turner were placed in custody without incident. They are charged with second-degree criminal mischief, two counts of first-degree scheme to defraud, first-degree attempted scheme to defraud, fifth-degree conspiracy and peddling/soliciting. Young is also charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. They are due to be arraigned on Tuesday.
