The girls lacrosse team held on to first place in Nassau Conference 3B, and the Gladiators did it in thilling fashion Monday. First they dug out of an early hole. Then they held off an impressive team that showed no quit.

, but the score isn't a measure of just how wild this game was. These teams was also played in blustery and muddy conditions at New Hyde Park.
