'The Alary' Takes Flight At Westchester Place In Downtown New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A new high-rise residential building in the Queen City on the Sound has found its wings.

Leasing is officially underway at The Alary, a 28-story luxury tower by Allstate Ventures, located at 33 Westchester Place in downtown New Rochelle. The 315-unit property marks the final phase of Westchester Place, the arts-centric, three-building development that is the latest entry on the city's fast-changing skyline.

Allstate Ventures says that with scaffolding removed in May, The Alary's "bold architectural profile has emerged as a standout on the downtown skyline, offering the first full glimpse of what is sure to become the city's most distinctive residential address."

As the final phase of Westchester Place, joining The Arc and The Atelier, The Alary "adds to the district’s dynamic mix of arts, culture, and modern living," just steps away from the Metro-North station.

Designed by NYC-based Fogarty Finger Architects, The Alary features a sculptural white terra cotta façade with bronze accents. The residences offer nine-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, keyless entry, custom-lit closets, and kitchens featuring Fisher & Paykel and Beko appliances, quartz countertops, and full-height backsplashes. Select homes have waterfall-edge islands and curbless walk-in showers, while penthouse residences were designed with upgraded finishes and 11-foot ceilings.

Amenities at The Alary include a state-of-the-art fitness center, co-working spaces with private pods and conference rooms, a game room with a wet bar, a sports simulator, a children's playroom, and a sky lounge with a full-service bar.

The rooftop — the tallest in the area — includes a resort-style pool, an outdoor cinema, BBQ kitchens, fire pits, a dog park, and panoramic views of Westchester County and Long Island Sound. Additional conveniences include 24/7 concierge service, valet parking, keyless access, and a resident mobile app for service/amenity bookings.

Allstate explains that "as the culmination of Allstate Ventures' Westchester Place vision, The Alary joins The Arc and The Atelier in delivering a thoughtfully curated residential experience rooted in community and creativity." The earlier phases introduced market-rate and affordable artist housing, a public gallery, retail spaces, and a vibrant public art program. In addition, Sushi By Boū, an immersive omakase dining experience recently opened across from The Alary.

Studios start at $2,150, one-bedroom floor plans begin at $2,913, and two-bedroom residences start at $4,100. There are Grand Opening incentives of up to 3 months free and zero security deposit. Initial occupancy is scheduled for July 1.
